Linda Avellar

Linda Avellar is Director of Development and Communication at the Ferguson Library in Stamford, where she oversees the library’s award-winning communication department and fundraising program. She came to library work after a career as a broadcast journalist, working among other places in New York, Los Angeles and Miami, where she received an Emmy nomination for feature news reporting. As a third act, she is writing fiction. She is a founding member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and is currently working on a novel.
